- I was born and raised in Pine Brook, New Jersey. It's a typical suburban town, located about 30 miles west of New York City. My mother is an esthetician who runs a day spa and my father was a general contractor, who designed everything he built. From my father, I got the artist’s gene. I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. From my stylish mother, I gained an appreciation for all things visually pleasing.
