The Cavs were determined and ready to play their best at home for Game 5. They came out of the gates firing on all cylinders. The team was able to remedy their shooting misfortunes from previous games as they shot a very good 50.6% as a team. LeBron produced a stellar night’s work with 38 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. It was his 72nd playoff game in which he scored 30 or more points.

Though, the feat that he was most proud of and went into the game looking to achieve was his zero turnovers in all of his 41 minutes played. Kyrie Irving was able to help out in a big way, even while having to play through a sprained right foot and sore left ankle. The Cavs generated 40 points in the paint and Tristan Thompson had a solid 12 and 10. Thompson has continued to succeed in his expanded role in the absence of Kevin Love. LeBron delivered the play of the game with a swat of a Derrick Rose floater with 50 seconds left that potentially would have tied the game.
