23 Acts of Kindness and Giving

Marking his 12th straight All-Star appearance, LeBron James has been selected as a starter for the Eastern Conference in a vote by the fans for the 2016 NBA All-Star game. Earning more than a million votes, LeBron was the top vote-getter in the conference thanks to his unbelievable fans. With this selection, LeBron becomes just the sixth player to start in at least 12 All-Star games, joining NBA greats Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Bob Cousy.

As they do every year in every All-Star city, LeBron and his Foundation have big plans to leave their mark in the community of this year’s host city, Toronto. With the help of his 330 Ambassadors – the high school students that mentor his Foundation’s Akron public school kids – LeBron will give back to the local Toronto community as a way of thanking them for hosting this year’s event while also teaching youth the importance of giving back. The 330 Ambassadors have a special surprise in store for 23 sports teams in the Toronto Public School District and will spend the rest of their time in Toronto serving the community and learning about the city.

The 65th NBA All-Star game is set to tip off on Sunday, Feb. 14 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
