LeBron James | 15 points, 9 assists. 6 rebounds
On Wednesday, November 19th, the Cavaliers took to the floor against the defending NBA Champions, the San Antonio Spurs. After a loss to the Denver Nuggets that snapped their four-game winning streak, LeBron and company looked to steal a win at home against a team that historically has given the Cavaliers trouble. The game went back and forth throughout the night, with no team ever leading by double digits. With under three minutes to play, the Cavaliers would take an 86 – 85 lead. However, the Spurs would answer, but Kyrie Irving would bring them within two as Manu Ginobili missed a free throw with ten seconds remaining. LeBron would get the rebound and as the defense collapsed on him, the Spurs were able to force the turnover and the Cavs would fall 92 – 90 to move to 5 – 5 on the season.
The Cavaliers will travel to the Washington Wizards next on Friday, November 21st at 8:00 PM on ESPN. You can see the highlights from Wednesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs courtesy of NBA.com & YouTube/NBA below — Read more about the Cavaliers’ loss here.
